Union River Boat Co., Inc. has been building high quality composite tooling, custom components, hulls, and decks since 1994. We have built thousands of components, hatches, pans, infused panels, pilothouses--for the finest boats on the east coast. Our work has contributed to boats ranging from 12’ to 94’. We combine new design and build technologies with the Maine tradition of careful craftsmanship.
Owner Richard Ryder has been building boats--wooden dories to 90' composite sailing yachts--since leaving the Coast Guard in 1974. Many of our 25 crew members have more than 20 years experience in Maine's custom boat shops.
URB has the capabilities and connections to make your out-sourced composite projects one-stop shopping. We have in-house engineering and CAD capabilities for small projects and well-established local relationships for larger projects. We have a new state-of-the-art facility, the experience and the commitment to detail needed to build your composite projects.
